First of all, thanks for visiting our website!  It's great to have you here. If you're reading this, you're probably interested in getting to know a little more about us, which makes us pretty happy - we like making new friends!

 

We live in a small town northwest of Philadelphia, where we enjoy taking walks with our son, Sullivan, watching episodes of The Dick Van Dyke Show, and making merry with good friends.  On weekends we aren't DJing, we perform live music at local venues, like cafes and farmer's markets, and we have also recorded two EPs! (You can take a listen to them         .)  Performing live music during ceremonies is actually how we initially got started in the wedding circuit.  We both come from musical families, so I guess you could say it's in our blood!

 

Our interest in DJing weddings began in 2011 when we were choosing music for our September wedding.  We realized we were creating an atmosphere for all our guests with the songs we were choosing.  We wanted our guests to feel at ease eating dinner and conversing with one another over the gentle sounds of Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble.  But as a couple who loves to have fun, we wanted a lot of good, danceable songs that all ages felt comfortable shakin' a tail feather to!

 

Over the next couple of years, our involvement in friend's weddings grew as we performed pre-ceremony sets of music, special ceremony songs, and even the occasional reception concert set.  We then purchased a set of sound equipment which we used for a handful of weddings and also rented out for local events.  In May of 2013 we had our first official DJ gig, where our services were utilized all day, from live pre-ceremony music to a DJed bride and groom send-off.  Ever since that wedding we have only fallen more and more into a rhythm with our style, brand and the way we work together.  We are hooked on weddings!

 

Now, a few years later, the two words that often describe how we feel driving our faithful Ford Ranger home after tearing down from a wedding reception are: exhausted and elated. We gab the whole way home over how funny the best man speech was, or how priceless the crowd's reaction was to such-and-such song, or how cool the maitre d' was to work with, or how sweet the father-daughter dance was.  From the moment we pull away from the venue, to the minute our heads finally hit our pillows, as we yawn and complain about how sore our feet are, we sigh with relief and turn to one another saying: "That was awesome."

 

And it really is.  It's awesome.  To prepare as much as possible in advance, to have each other's backs in the moment, and to strive, as a team, to accomplish the task before us, is awesome.
